Feed My Sheep
Affirming God’s love for all people, we work with Lutherans and partners around the world to end poverty, injustice and human suffering. In collaboration with other local churches, Feed My Sheep is a local food ministry housed out of Zion Lutheran Church. Once a month, over 70 local families are provided with food. Zion supports this ministry with food drives, monetary collections, and volunteers to staff on set-up and distribution days. We also help provide extra donations around the holidays, like Christmas and Easter hams and Thanksgiving turkeys.

Caitlin's Smiles
Caitlin’s Smiles is dedicated to sharing smiles and laughter with children facing chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Founded in 2004 in memory of Caitlin Hornung, this non-profit organization distributes arts and crafts kits to hospitals, giving kids an outlet for creativity and the means to heightened feelings of self-worth. Caitlin’s family are members of Zion. Zion housed Caitlin’s Smiles in its beginning years and is still very actively involved–in both volunteering and donations. They have reached over one million children in hospitals with their arts and crafts supplies!
